Amberwood Animals rescues and rehomes animals across the UK. We rely on donations, volunteers, and adopters to support our mission.

3. Animal Adoptions

  • Eligibility: Applicants must pass a home check and provide vet references.

  • Fees: Non-refundable adoption fees apply (covers vaccinations, microchipping).

  • Returns: If unable to keep an animal, contact us immediately—do not rehome independently.

4. Donations & Payments

  • Gift Aid: UK taxpayers can boost donations by 25% (declaration required).

  • Refunds: Donations are non-refundable unless an error occurs.

  • Security: Payments processed via PCI-compliant providers (e.g., Stripe).

5. Volunteering

  • Screening: Roles involving animals may require a DBS check.

  • Conduct: Treat animals, staff, and visitors with respect. Violations may result in dismissal.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Our Content: Logos, guides, and resources are owned by Amberwood Animals. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

  • Media: Photos/videos taken at our events may be used for promotional purposes (opt-out available).

7. Liability

  • Animals: While we assess temperament, adopters assume responsibility for their pet’s behavior.

  • Events: Participation is at your own risk (e.g., farm visits).

  • Third Parties: We’re not liable for actions of vets, fosters, or payment processors.
